There are many programs that Canada offers on how you can come to Canada permanently or temporarily, some of these are as follows:
Express Entry Immigrate as a skilled worker. There are three categories for this program; Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class, and Federal Skilled Trade Class. Basic requirements are education assessed by a Canadian organization, related work experience, English or French language test and proof of fund.
Family sponsorship Sponsor your relatives, including your spouse, partner, children, parents, grandparents, and others to immigrate. There are two types of Family sponsorship, the INSIDE Canada application or OUTSIDE Canada application; both may take up to twelve months of processing or longer for complicated cases.
Provincial nominees Immigrate by being nominated by a Canadian province or territory. When you have a provincial nomination you are most likely be qualified for the Express Entry category provided other requirements are met.
Caregivers Immigrate by providing care for children, the elderly or those with medical needs, or work as a live-in caregiver. If your experience is in the medical field and have many experiences in caregiving and/or nursing then this category is perfect for you.
Quebec-selected skilled workers Immigrate as a skilled worker in the province of Quebec
Start-up visa Immigrate by starting a business and creating jobs.
Immigrant Investors Immigrate by investing in the Canadian economy.
Self-employed Immigrate as a self-employed person in cultural or athletic activities, or as a farmer. Your experience in cultural or athletic activities must be at international level.
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Immigrate by graduating from a school or working in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland and Labrador.
Refugees Immigrate as a refugee or become a sponsor.
